Isaiah 12:2 “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.”

This verse is how we should live our lives, we choose to trust and not be fearful when we have a relationship with Christ. We realize that we need to be humble, otherwise God is not our strength and we don’t trust His ways. When God is our strength we realize how pointless it is to try and get strength from ourselves or other things of the world. And we realize just how painful that way of living is. But when Christ is our strength a sort of weight is lifted up off our shoulders, because we don’t have to worry about doing things on our own, instead we give it right to God. He is our song, we should always be giving praise to God. No matter the circumstances God is praise worthy. He is where our joy and happiness comes from.  Our praises for God should be like that song that you can never get out of your head. But instead of it being annoying you love it because it makes you see God in all the little things of life, along with witnessing to others. There is always a reason to be giving God praise, just look around, everything is a blessing from God. Then the verse goes on to say again that God is our salvation. This is such a comfort because that means we can’t save yourself, our jobs can't, nothing can except for Christ. And we should be thankful because we would never be good enough to save ourselves and for that I give God thanks.

Application:

Wake up thanking God for another day on Earth.
