Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

This is a good verse about being in the will of God. God might call you to serve at home or He might call you to a new place. In both situations it can be a cause for fear if you forget that that is where God is placing you for that time. Going to a new place can be frightening because it is all new, language, culture, people, but it can be an adventure and a fresh start. Staying put can be hard because everything stays the same. People already know you and you feel like you are not stepping out in faith, but you can use that situation to honor the Lord also. The most important thing to remember is that if God is calling you somewhere or you think He is, no matter where God will be with right there with you. He will give you the courage to be strong and stand firm even when you feel discouraged. That is one of the most comforting things to here is that the one and only God is with you, right there in the old and in the new. So take comfort and know that whatever God has planned it and it will be more then you can imagine, and to trust in His plan and rest, not worry.
Application:
I will be more diligent about praying for my future.
